Cathy and Rich Austin have been organising events for local friends with Vizslas since late 2001. We were joined by Cath Carter and Jon Harris in 2003 and "South West Walkers" were formed.
The main aim of the group is to provide a get together for Vizsla pet owners with the emphasis on having fun and raising money for breed rescue. There have so far been 7 walks with ever increasing numbers of people and dogs. The last walk attracted an estimate of 50 Vizslas and their owners from as far afield as London, Exeter, Leicester and Hull in fact anyone who wanted to come along, South Westers or not!
